Attribute1 Description

 

This mine code appears in each polygon on the mylar quads and is unique to each county. It is defined as a character. Examples: Mg-47, Jfn-23, etc.

If mines overlapped a special code (i.e. Mz-4) was used and the the actual mines involved were listed in other attributes: MC-2, MC-3, MC-4

1= Where a mined area is not overlapped.

2= Where two or more mines are overlapping (multiple mines)

Attribute3 Description

 

If multiple mines exist, the mine codes of each mine involved are listed. No more than three mines overlap at one time.

DRAIN

Attribute4 Description

 

Appears on the quadrangles in the form of either a dashed or solid line outlining each polygon.

A= The mine lies above a major drainage

B= The mine lies below a major drainage
